Vineyard description : This vineyard owes more than just its signature views to Seneca Lake, as the rootstock comes from Hermann Wiemer, one of the area's most prominent Riesling producers. With plantings extending to the shore, the moderating effects of the 600-foot deep lake create a micro-climate that generates superb riesling grapes in this this cool-climate AVA.
Winemaking Info : 32 day fermentation in stainless steel tank followed by aging on fine lees. No Malo lactic Fermentation.
Wine Description : Exuberant aromas of citrus, white flowers with a touch of honey. Bright / crispy mouth feel with tropical notes and fresh finish.
Aging Capacity : 3 to 5 years.
Food Pairing : Perfect for shellfish (oysters) or some fatty white fish (monk, cod, etc.)
